Beginning with the CBCT Scan
Patients begin their journey with our state-of-the-art CBCT (cone-beam computed tomography) scan, which create a digital 3D model of the patient's entire head. This digital model is used by our doctors to pre-perform a digital surgery, planning every step of the procedure before the patient even hits the chair.
Virtual Surgery
Virtual Surgery using 3D models allows the provider to avoid incisions, meaning patients can leave the office without bleeding, stitches, or sutures. This leads to a faster and relatively painless recovery. Access to these models before placing the implant familiarizes the provider with the patient's mouth, allowing our team to identify nerves and vessels to avoid.

Preparing with virtual surgery means implant patients will not experience incisions into the gums, the implant is simply being dropped in, as Dr. Vik says, "like magic." No swelling, bruising, stitches, or sutures means patients can prioritize oral health without impacting their everyday life.
